Middlesex: Acton MD vs Iso (1-8)

The Mdx MD team played the away leg against Iso last weekend. We knew that this was probably going to be a tough match... and it proved to be so!

Iso really had put all of their best players out for this match in an effort to secure promotion at the end of the season. It was an ominous start after all three of our pair's lost their games in 2 straight sets! Arul and I came back strongly and played very well to take our only win of the night with a score of 21-8 21-18. The remainder of San and Dave's games saw them recover from their holiday legs, but sadly lose both 15-21, 21-18, 18-21 and 21-10, 19-21 20-22. James and Mitsugu played well but were pushed too hard and lost their last two games also in straight sets.

We now have a well deserved rest until the 9th of April when we will play Sobell at home and hope to better our previous score of 7-2.
